Nosis Launches Nationwide, Bringing Whole-Body Health to Substance Use Recovery
New model puts physical health and longevity at the center of care
By Nosis · 2026-09-22
(September 22, 2026) — Nosis today announced the national launch of its whole-body health model for substance use recovery, combining advanced diagnostics, personalized interventions, and science-backed behavior change to address biological and metabolic health needs that have historically fallen outside the scope of substance use disorder treatment.
Individuals with substance use disorders carry a disproportionate burden of chronic disease and poor health, and many of those problems last well into recovery. Poor sleep, persistent fatigue, metabolic dysfunction, inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and nutritional deficiencies can leave people feeling physically unwell at exactly the time they are working to make enormous changes in their lives. These are not secondary concerns. They can intensify cravings, heighten the desire for relief, and make recovery harder to sustain.
Substance use disorder treatment is rightly built around the most immediate priorities — helping people stabilize, stop or reduce substance use, prevent overdose, and address the psychological and behavioral dimensions of addiction. What it has not traditionally been designed to do is systematically address the physical health left in the wake of substance use. Nosis believes closing this gap is essential to helping more people achieve durable recovery, and designed its model to do exactly that.
“Too often, people are doing the hard work of recovery while their bodies are working against them,” said Duffy Fallon, Founder and CEO of Nosis. “We built Nosis to help change that—to understand what’s happening in the body, help people rebuild their health, and get their biology working in service of their recovery. We believe helping people feel and function better is one of the most overlooked opportunities to improve recovery outcomes.”
With Nosis, rebuilding physical health is a deliberate, ongoing part of recovery—not a separate project people are left to figure out on their own. Its model is designed to work alongside substance use disorder treatment, primary care, therapy, medications, and recovery communities, connecting biological insights with sustained support for changes in everyday life.
Following a year-long pilot and participation in the 2026 One Mind Accelerator, Nosis is introducing two core offerings nationwide:
- Nosis Assess — A comprehensive biological health assessment combining more than 85 biomarkers with health history, symptoms, lifestyle, and recovery context. Members receive a personalized report and one-on-one review with the Nosis team, translating complex results into a clear picture of what’s happening in their body and what to prioritize next.
- Nosis Core — The company’s flagship whole-body recovery program. Core begins with Nosis Assess and translates those findings into a structured 12-week program across nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, supplementation, metabolic health, and behavior change. Members work one-on-one with recovery coaches and registered dietitians, with repeat bloodwork used to measure progress over time. Ongoing monthly support is available following the initial program.
Nosis is built for the full arc of recovery — from someone beginning to question their relationship with substances, through treatment and early recovery, to people years into recovery who have stopped using but still do not feel fully well. Across each stage, the model brings together diagnostics, coaching, nutrition, movement, sleep, supplementation, community, and behavior change to help people feel and function better while building healthier lives in recovery.
Lived experience is central to the model. All Nosis health coaches are themselves in recovery, bringing firsthand understanding of the recovery process alongside structured support around health and behavior change.
Care with Nosis is fully virtual. The Nosis portal serves as a home base for every element of the program — care plans, labs, progress, and scheduling. All one-on-one visits are booked around personal availability, and group sessions run multiple times throughout the week, making attendance easier.
In the coming months, Nosis plans to introduce a tightly scoped medical offering designed to complement its broader whole-body health model. The offering will include a limited set of medications, including GLP-1 therapies, where there is a clear role in supporting metabolic health and recovery. Medication will serve as one tool within the model rather than the center of it.
“Recovery is about much more than the absence of substance use,” said Patrick J. Kennedy, Founder of The Kennedy Forum, Co-Founder of One Mind, and a member of the Nosis Advisory Board. “It is about helping people improve their health, regain their ability to function, reconnect with their lives, and reach their potential. Nosis is bringing needed attention to physical health as an important and often overlooked part of that process.”
